Breitbart: In Immigration Debate, Trump Says We Don’t Have Enough American Workers to Fill Skilled Labor Jobs
TO "Mr. President Donald Trump. I read the Breitbart article above and saw Laura's interview with you. My feeling about this skilled labor shortage hasn't changed.
Here's an idea that will solve the problem of the need for skilled labor. In the end it's up to the worker to get him/her trained so let him/her train themselves if they want the cash. The cost and time it takes to go to school is a problem and this method of training will alleviate the problem.
It's not up to the government to train or provide labor to businesses who's only motive is to "Profit" financially off the public. Government always wants to increase its tax payer base and that should be done by making businesses train U.S. workers so their wages will increase through skill providing government with increased revenue. Hauling in more and more foreigners is like the people that dumped their pet "Boa Constrictors" in the Florida Everglades and let snake populations explode which is killing off all the animals that are native to the area.
Immigration should be a controlled event that never disturbs the native population. Government flooding the U.S. with immigrants just to fill jobs or letting uncontrolled immigration go on disturbs and destroys the natural population of the U.S. just like the "Boa Constrictor's" that were let loose in the Florida Everglades. Yes, the U.S. Citizen population is being pushed aside and hurt badly because of people who are not natural to this country and being let in to increase business profits or for political gain. A natural flow of immigration that is legal and controlled is good. Dumping "Boa Constrictors" into the swamp that kills off the natural population is bad.
High skilled job vacancies have been around for decades and no businesses have suffered from it. Businesses just want to expand so they can increase their profits and government should not increase the U.S. population for the purpose of business profits. Again, government can increase its tax base by pushing businesses to train U.S. workers into the jobs they need filled.
It's a simple problem to solve. The future employee signs a contract to work for a business for a certain amount of time if the business trains said future employee for the job that needs to be filled. Before the future employee actually starts to work for the business, the business will give to the future employee correspondence type literature to study for a reasonable amount of time (1 to 5 years?) without a teacher. Some future employees may take longer to learn the materials than others especially when they have no teacher. The future employee will be required to take a written test on the material before said employee actually starts to work for pay. When the future employee starts to work for pay they will be in an apprenticeship supervised by someone that has the ability to train and not by some employee that has worked for the business for a long time.
The business will not have to pay for their future employees study time and neither will the government. The business will pay for the study material and the apprenticeship. Hey, this training plan can work from McDonald's employees on up to Wall Street financial entities. The smallest of smallest businesses can benefit from this training plan without to many expenditures. Future employees can be found on the street that have no schooling and will be able to understand the material they have to learn over a period of time.
For a really small business the contract time that a future employee has to work for the business will be up for debate. Once the future employee is in the apprenticeship program the supervisor who's overseeing the future employee may be a problem. If the employer puts an average employee in charge of the supervision who doesn't have the natural ability or training to train someone there may be a huge problem. Many businesses will hire an employee who needs training then put the New employee under the supervision of another employee expecting the new employee to be trained and the new employee never gets trained because the old employee just doesn't want to do it either by personality conflict or not having the ability to do so.
Importing immigrants for the purpose of profit making, "NO!". Mike Lee is Ted Cruz's rectum that's blowing smelly gas out of it. Laura Ingraham I have to say is correct. Find a way to get U.S. Citizens trained into these skilled jobs that have been open for decades and have never hurt any business.
Mr. President, "Donald Trump". Please concentrate on job training that is more focused on the future employee's training themselves through a correspondence type situation, just without teachers. The future employee will have to be self sufficient and dig in to educate themselves with only correspondence course type literature over whatever time is needed and a written test being the only cost to the business. If the U.S. government wants to encourage this type of training program with incentives then that's mighty fine.
Importing immigrants for the purpose of creating profits for business is the, "MESS WE ARE IN RIGHT NOW" because of the "libertarian republican RINOS". Growth through pumping up businesses with immigrant labor is damaging. Growth in U.S. Citizen wages and job mobility should be our only goal that will, "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN" and "KEEP AMERICA GREAT".
